Course syllabus and structure

Course duration is 6 -12 months.

1 class per month with supported learning or distance learning with tutor support.

The course covers the following modules:

• Introduction ( including Cell and Tissues)
• Skeletal System and Muscular System
• Circulatory System and Lymphatic System
• Digestive System and Nutrition
• Respiratory System
• Brain and Nervous System
• Endocrine System
• Reproductive System
• Urinary System.

Course Entry

Course Entry requirements are as follows:

• Leaving Cert or Equivalent
• 20 years or older
• Completed Application Form
• Interview / Informal Meeting

Qualification

On successful completion of course you will be awarded a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology.

Career Opportunities

Successful completion of course will enable students to use this qualification towards other ITEC qualifications such as Reflexology or Aromatherapy or used for entry into a health care related courses.
